Repurpose Your Candle + 5 Fun Repurposing Ideas

Did you know you can repurpose your old Daybreak candle?

When you purchase a Daybreak candle, you're receiving a candle and a classy drinking glass. We intentionally chose to pour our candles in a cocktail glass meaning you get to enjoy your Daybreak candle for years to come. Because who doesn't love a good 2-for-1 deal?

5 Easy Steps to Repurpose Your Old Daybreak Candle

1. Remove Remaining Wax (choose one option only)

  • A) Pour hot water into the jar to melt the wax, then scoop it out after it hardens on the surface.
  • B) Place your candle jar in the freezer for a few hours. Once the wax is frozen, it should pop out easily.

2. Clean the Jar

  • Use warm, soapy water to clean out any remaining wax residue and wick sustainer. For stubborn spots, a little bit of rubbing alcohol or vinegar can help.

3. Remove Labels

  • Peel off any labels from the jar. If there’s any sticky residue left behind, use rubbing alcohol or a mixture of baking soda and oil to remove it.

4. Dry and Polish

  • Dry the jar thoroughly with a soft cloth. You can also polish the glass with a microfiber cloth to give it a nice shine.

5. Repurpose and Enjoy!
